WHO WE ARE

WHO WE ARE

With a vision and mission to have Happy Empowered Children in slums, Sarthak Foundation reaches out children in urban slums, villages and on construction sites and changes their lives through education and skills.

We work in the largest state of India - Uttar Pradesh.

The issue that we are trying to address is removal of abject poverty in slums through education and skilling of children.

We become a part of the community by setting up permanent Yellow Rooms and create a sustainable transformational environment for all the children in that vicinity. We work for them becoming happy, gender equal, empathetic, educated, sensitive and ethical human beings.

Sarthak Foundation is a not-for-profit registered society in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. We are 80G and 12A certified. In 2019, we received our FCRA certification. We are also registered on Niti Aayog’s Darpan portal and our id is UP/2016/0100088

There are 8 board members with us. We are a team of 30 full-time employees and around 40 volunteers and interns. We have an Advisory Board of 5 members rich in experience. The Founder has quit her corporate and academic career and has been working in full-time capacity in an honorary position. We have a fantastic strength of more than 300 lovely donors who have been taking this cause ahead.
